A Study on the Effectiveness of Creating English News Videos to Enhance Speaking Skills for English Club Members at Hung Yen University of Technology and Education

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of creating English news videos to enhance the speaking skills of English club members at Hung Yen University of Technology and Education. The research methodology employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including survey questionnaires, interview questions, and observation. A total of 125 English news videos were gathered in the survey, which was created by 25 participants. The findings show that creating English news videos is an efficient method to improve English speaking skills, as it enhances students' vocabulary, fluency, and confidence in English. The study also highlights the importance of providing regular opportunities for English club members majoring in various academic disciplines to practice speaking English, as well as the need for appropriate instructional support and resources to create effective English news videos. The results of this study have practical implications for English language educators, particularly those working with English club members seeking to improve their speaking skills.
